Dhikr Gate respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Dhikr Gate mobile application collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Dhikr Gate is designed to help you build mindful routines around prayer times through prayer reminders, dhikr sessions, app shielding, progress tracking, and optional Pro features.

We aim to keep personal data collection limited. Most app data is stored locally on your device.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

Dhikr Gate may store the following information locally on your device:

3. Location Data

Dhikr Gate may request location access to calculate prayer times for your area.

If you grant location permission, the app may use your device location to determine approximate coordinates for prayer time calculation. Location data is used for app functionality and is not used for advertising or tracking.

You can disable location access at any time in iOS Settings. If location access is disabled, some prayer time features may be less accurate or may rely on manually selected settings.

4. Screen Time and App Shielding Data

Dhikr Gate uses Apple’s Screen Time, Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings frameworks to let you select apps to shield during prayer windows.

The selected app shielding configuration is handled using Apple’s privacy-preserving system APIs. Dhikr Gate does not receive the names of all apps installed on your device and does not sell or use this information for advertising.

This data is used only to provide app shielding functionality.

Dhikr Gate may request notification permission to send prayer reminders, dhikr reminders, unlock reminders, and related app alerts.

Notification settings can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.

6. Purchases and Subscription Data

Dhikr Gate may offer optional Pro features through subscriptions or one-time purchases.

Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to help manage subscription status, purchase restoration, and entitlement access.

RevenueCat may process purchase-related information such as product identifiers, subscription status, transaction information, and app user identifiers needed to provide subscription functionality.

We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

7. Analytics and Diagnostics

Dhikr Gate may collect limited analytics and diagnostic information to help improve reliability, understand feature usage, and fix problems.

This may include events such as app setup progress, feature interaction, subscription screen interaction, permission flow status, and general app performance or diagnostic signals.

We use TelemetryDeck for privacy-focused analytics. Analytics data is intended to be anonymous or not directly linked to your identity. We do not use analytics data for advertising or tracking across apps or websites.

Analytics and diagnostic data may be retained for a limited period to improve app reliability and understand usage trends.

Dhikr Gate may be used in different countries and regions. Data handled by third-party services such as Apple, RevenueCat, or TelemetryDeck may be processed in countries other than your own, according to their policies and applicable law.

We take reasonable steps to protect data handled by the app. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
